This Privacy Policy applies only to the JC DribbleMeter Player mobile application ("App") provided by JC-Technology GmbH, Austria. It does not apply to our website or to other products or services offered by JC-Technology GmbH.
JC DribbleMeter Player is designed to measure and evaluate basketball dribble rhythm using the sensors of your mobile device. The App is designed as an offline-first application. Its core functions work locally on the device.
The App does not include advertising SDKs.
The App does not include analytics tracking.
The App does not use cloud synchronization for training data.
JC DribbleMeter Player does not require user registration and does not create a user account.
The App processes motion and training-related data locally on your device in order to detect and evaluate dribble rhythm. Training results, calibration data, session-related data, and exported files remain stored locally on your device unless you explicitly choose to export them or delete them.
JC-Technology GmbH does not automatically collect, upload, or receive your training data from the App.
The App is designed so that normal use does not require you to provide personal data such as your name, address, phone number, or payment information.
If you contact us by email, we may receive the personal information that you voluntarily provide in your message, such as your email address and any other information you include. This information is used only for communication and support purposes.
The App may use the following device capabilities and permissions solely for its intended functionality:
The App does not use these permissions to collect data for advertising, profiling, or third-party analytics purposes.
The App can create exported files, such as PDF result files, only when you explicitly initiate an export action.
No exported file is uploaded automatically.
No result is shared automatically.
You decide whether to keep, share, or delete exported files.
JC DribbleMeter Player does not sell, rent, or share your training data with third parties.
The App does not transmit training data to JC-Technology GmbH or to external service providers as part of its normal operation.
JC DribbleMeter Player does not include advertising SDKs or analytics SDKs.
If third-party libraries are used for technical purposes inside the App, they are not used to track you, profile you, or collect your personal data for marketing purposes.
Training data remains on your device until you delete it inside the App, clear the App's storage in your device settings, or uninstall the App.
Exported files that you saved outside the App remain under your control and are not necessarily removed automatically when you uninstall the App. You are responsible for deleting exported files from your device storage if you no longer want to keep them.
Because the App is designed to work primarily locally on your device, your training data is generally kept under your direct control on that device.
However, no method of device storage or electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your device protected, including by using device-level security measures where appropriate.
The App is not specifically designed or marketed for children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the normal use of the App. If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us by email or other direct communication, please contact us so that we can delete it where applicable.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
If we make changes, we will update the "Effective date" at the top of this page. We recommend reviewing this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how the App handles data.
