Privacy Policy for JC Dribble Meter Player

Scope

This Privacy Policy applies only to the JC Dribble Meter Player mobile application provided by JC-Technology GmbH, Austria. It does not apply to this website or to other products or services offered by JC-Technology GmbH.

Overview

JC Dribble Meter Player measures and evaluates basketball dribble rhythm using sensors of the user's mobile device. The app is designed as an offline-first application. Its core functions work locally on the device.

The app does not include advertising SDKs, analytics tracking or cloud synchronization for training data.

Data Collection and Storage

The app does not require user registration and does not create a user account. Motion and training-related data are processed locally on the device to detect and evaluate dribble rhythm. Training results, calibration data, session data and exported files remain stored locally unless the user explicitly exports or deletes them.

JC-Technology GmbH does not automatically collect, upload or receive training data from the app.

Personal Data

Normal use does not require the user to provide personal data such as name, address, phone number or payment information. If the user contacts us by e-mail, we may receive the personal information voluntarily included in that message and use it only for communication and support purposes.

Permissions Used

Accelerometer and motion sensor access are used only to detect and measure basketball dribble rhythm locally on the device. High sampling rate sensor access, where supported, improves local dribble detection precision. File creation or export access is used only when the user explicitly starts an export action, for example to save a result as a PDF.

The app does not use these permissions for advertising, profiling or third-party analytics.

Exported Files

The app can create exported files only when the user explicitly initiates an export action. No exported file is uploaded automatically, and no result is shared automatically. The user decides whether to keep, share or delete exported files.

Data Sharing

JC Dribble Meter Player does not sell, rent or share training data with third parties. The app does not transmit training data to JC-Technology GmbH or to external service providers as part of normal operation.

Third-Party Services and SDKs

JC Dribble Meter Player does not include advertising SDKs or analytics SDKs. If third-party libraries are used for technical purposes, they are not used to track, profile or collect personal data for marketing purposes.

Data Retention and Deletion

Training data remains on the device until it is deleted inside the app, app storage is cleared in device settings or the app is uninstalled. Exported files saved outside the app remain under the user's control and may need to be deleted separately.

Security

Because the app is designed to work primarily locally on the device, training data is generally kept under the user's direct control. No method of device storage or electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so users are responsible for keeping their devices protected.

Children's Privacy

The app is not specifically designed or marketed for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through normal use of the app.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page.
