Industrial condition assessment and fault diagnosis

Detect changes. Investigate faults traceably.

JC-Technology records temperature, current, vibration and machine signals over defined periods. This helps investigate difficult-to-reproduce faults, assess the stability of technical systems and make gradual condition changes visible.

Two entry points

Technical investigation or your own software system.

The right starting point depends on whether a specific plant condition needs to be investigated or ThermalDIAG is required as a dedicated monitoring and diagnostic system.

Measurement and service

Investigate a fault or assess stability

After technical clarification, a temporary measurement setup may be agreed to examine relevant signals together and document anomalies.

Software and system

Use ThermalDIAG as your own system

ThermalDIAG is being developed as a local monitoring and diagnostic system. ThermalDIAG Analytics complements it as a Windows application for recorded data. Both applications are in the test and validation phase.

Typical questions

What usually needs to be clarified in practice.

Why does a component get warm only sometimes?

ThermalDIAG can record temperature curves together with current, vibration, load, enable or switching states. This makes it easier to see whether an anomaly belongs to a specific operating condition.

Was the alarm justified?

Incidents contain measurements, rule context, timestamps, actions and evidence. This makes later review by operators, technicians or maintenance teams easier.

Can ThermalDIAG trigger, monitor and document test procedures using rules?

Rules can trigger prepared digital outputs, check feedback, count cycles and document temperature, current or vibration together. This is not real-time or safety control.

Is a temporary measurement enough?

Many projects start with a clearly scoped investigation. Afterwards it becomes easier to decide whether permanent monitoring, Analytics or an integration is useful.

Which data belongs together?

Temperature, current, vibration, analog measurements, digital states, incidents and notes are viewed in the project context instead of being spread across separate files.

Does the plant remain stable over time?

Trends, recurring deviations and gradual changes can indicate a need for further inspection or maintenance. This can contribute to reducing the risk of costly, unplanned plant downtime.

Workflow

A specific plant issue is investigated step by step.

1. Clarify the problemPlant, condition, measurement points, signals, time period and target of the investigation are narrowed down together.
2. Assess feasibility and possible testingDepending on the task, we assess whether temporary measurement, local monitoring, Analytics evaluation or integration is useful and technically feasible.
3. Evaluate the dataTemperatures, digital states, analog values, incidents, tickets and evidence are reviewed together.
4. Decide the next actionThe result can support maintenance, rule adjustment, permanent monitoring or additional measurement.
